  • Artificial Intelligence in the Health Service – Legal Perspectives (Kunstig intelligens i helsetjenesten – Rettslige perspektiver)

In recent years, the development of artificial intelligence has accelerated. Also within the health service, artificial intelligence will play an important role in the future. With the help of artificial intelligence, health professionals can get help to make critical decisions, to analyze images and test results - and perhaps also to perform precise surgery. The development raises a number of legal issues, and this collection of articles attempts to address some of them. 19 authors from various Nordic countries discuss, among other things, privacy, data protection, the boundary between health care and health research, liability, confidentiality, consent and ownership of data.

The book will be published in Gyldendal in the autumn of 2020.
